Why is that? That's half of what that slots rated for so I'd figure that should've blown

Fuses are "fail safe". They are to blow only on a short or large overload. Most fuses can carry 20 to 50 % over rating if not instant. Old technology that works.

Got My 98 F150 serviced at the end of last week. Had the heater core by pass done, and will come back towards the fall to maybe replace it. Didn't want to drop the money right now. Had some dye put in the Freon so we can discover where the leak is. Had some hoses replaced to get the a/c back blowing. It is making progress...

Picked up a cheap 110 lb blaster the other day. It's new, but I dismantled it anyway as I won't be using most of the parts that came on it lol. I couldn't find that large of a tank cheaper so I opted for a harbor freight tank. I have most of the parts needed to build this correctly anyway. After taking this blaster apart, I'm not sure how this set up would work for anyone ? Well, it couldn't, not very well anyway lol. The tanks okay, the hardware blows...not in a good way.

Blasting is a bigger deal than I imagined, but a must for a restore. I'll be constructing a blast booth/paint both next. They are a little different, but all I need to do for a paint booth is modify the blast booth so it sort of works out...I guess lol.
