Looking at possibly getting a tuner to increase power and mpg. What tuner would you guys recommend?

Your not gunna get much in MPG gains. There just isn't much to be had. And if you want more power, a tuner isn't the best way to go but it's useful after you do other things to your motor, with the use of custom tunes.

Mpt does tunes for sct tuners in our trucks. The are the only way I would go. They have great customer service too.

Seemed like an easy upgrade and I have read it makes the truck drive much nicer as well. I'm not a huge mechanic so I'm kinda wary of seriously trying to mess with the engine, but I also wanna learn at the same time. Just figured it was worth looking at.

The best thing about getting a tune is that they can get your shift points back where they are suppose to be after a tire size change and you can change the speed of the shift itself. The guys that have done it wont go back to stock.
