Is the bulb pointint to the front of the hood or the back of the hood?
It should be pointing toward the front.

My under hood light is pointing towards the back of the truck I do believe. But mine is working just fine.

Mines pointed back too but has a wire with bad connection

If you mess with mine and wiggle it the light will go out, but that's due to it being worn.

They sell a high temp that's good to 1200 degrees I believe it is.

I ordered everything to update the interior lighting on both trucks. No more green for me. Gonna update to the cool whit like alot of the newer Fords.
