Like por-15 metal prep and just spray it direcy on the baremetal and let dry then paint?

Replaced the thermostat on my red 03 fx4 after a few cold Mornings revealed the truck would not come up to running temperature. Telling me the thermostat was stuck open.

Then I did an oil change. She's ready for another hard winter!
