On a side note, after putting some seat time in my new fx4 with the 5.0 I absolutely love this engine!!!

It has gobs of power and excellent fuel economy! I would love to swap a late model 5.0 from a wrecked 2011-2014 f150 into my black lifted 02 lariat!
Please do that. That's what I want to do when my 5.4 needs replacing.

Is there any way to bolt it up to the 4r70 trans and if it will then will it handle it?

Build up the 4r70 some if you're worried and get an adapter plate made. Idk if it's actually that easy or not but it sounds good to me lol.

Because of the new 5.0 being so popular for swapping into anything and everything there is a lot of transmission options!

ya it would be the perfect engine for our trucks!
They are so compact compared to the 5.4 and easy to work on!

I got a scab 8 foot bed. Don't think I could-want to- handle a screw 8 foot.
