Thats kind of what I was thinking. I can have one installed for less than 100 but I need new fog and headlights too. If I did it would be painted black before it went on.

Today I did a product test of Mothers Wheel & Tire Cleaner.

The product tells you to spray liberally covering the wheel and tire then let it sit for 30 seconds before hosing off.

My wheels & tires have not been cleaned in a few months and I went on a trip to The Smokey Mountains in Tennessee for a week along with normal driving.

I feel like the product works are described but you can see that there is still a layer build up on the wheels and tires which would require additional attention. I also tried spraying a second time to see if it would help lift the rest away but it didn't. For best results I recommend using brushes to agitate the areas before rinsing off. This will help lift off anything that the product doesn't without intervention.

I use Meguiers tire cleaner and polish and its amazing. It sets the black on the tire to a gloss.
