I think the problem wasn't getting it to sit,I think it was getting it to sit long enough to mark the drill spots with one set of hands. Next time I'll pull it at the house so I have another person

I had that problem with my sd cooler but a carefully placed screwdriver solved that problem lol

all I did was notch out a little spot in that fiberglass bar just enough to fit the bar in there. It's not all that bad

Another wax and wash. Paint is smooth and clear as glass...
