It's been a while since I uploaded any changes to the truck, but I've added in channel window visors in April and redone my exhaust straight out the back just last month. Now, I'm considering a TonnoPro Tri-Folding Tonneau Cover in the near future. What do you guys think?

I try to keep it clean as possible and it's only got 113K. I wouldn't mind having a cold air intake, but I cant find one that is in the $200 range. Airaid and K&N are both almost $300 and the Spectre Brand is questionable in my opinion.

My buddy had a spectre on his 4.6 and it seemed to perform alright. Never seen a k&n or airaid in person but they all do about the same thing. If you have a v6 I would advise you to keep the money and use it towards thr tonneau cover considering thr gains of a cai are very minimal especially on a 4.2

You already have more of a cold air intake stock, compared to the open ones sitting in the engine bay that people pay hundreds for. Stock, the air is coming from outside of the hood in the front fender. All those expensive aftermarket cold air intakes are just an open air filter sitting in the engine bay sucking in hot air. They look cute but don't do anything

Did an oil change on my 03 fx4 with shell 5w30 and a ford filter.
I also replaced the air fill ends on my firestone airbags with some new brass ends.

Good point though. For being just a v6 it has some pep to it. The exhaust seemed to open it up a bit and I did pick up 1 mpg if I stay off the pedal. I get anywhere from 14-16 mpg average depending on what I'm doing. If I spend a lot of time on the highway doing 70 mph I can get 18-20 mpg with a/c on. Another main reason I'm considering a tonneau, besides to be able to keep stuff in the bed without being soaked, is for better mpg. In theory, I'm supposed to pick up another mile or two with the tonneau cover because of less wind drag in the bed.

While I agree the stock one is good(I was originally planning on keeping it with a better drop in and the gotts mod but found a k&n for hella cheap so I got it) my k&n isn't just an open filter and neither are allot of the higher end ones they're mostly closed off from the engine bay so they don't get too much of that warm air I definitely wouldn't buy one new though the stock ones good enough with the gotts
