I dont understand the logic in that. Either way its gonna look like crap. Waste of money on paint and making the real paint job harder for the guy that has to fugg with a rattle can paint job.

I'm probably.using primer. Whoever does it is taking it to the metal anyways

But its still gonna look bad. If you arent a body guy id just leave it to the pros that way you dont end up paying more when they have to fix your work. Just my two cents but we all know how well you like taking advice.
