I looked at replacing mine before emailing custom tunes and this is the info I found

"Thats on the passenger side of your truck tucked up kind of between the dash and wall of the truck above the passenger kick panel."

I have gotten several keys from ebay. Like $14 for 2 PATS programable key.

Just make sure the key had a "S" or "SA" stamped on it, that will let you know it will work. Some keys without the mark have issues programing them. I have my original key, with a "S" stamp on it, an ebay key with "SA" on it that was programed by my mechanic wiht his scan tool made for programing keys. I have programed 3 other keys from e-bay that don't have the mark on them from the 2 with marks.

oh yeh. All you have to do is pull the door sill off and the kick panel off and it should be pretty accessible.

Ok guys I put my column in the 03 super crew I bought and it turns over and doesn't start (obviously lol) so this is a good sign!

I'm going to swap the computer of the truck the steering column came out of tomorrow in hopes that that will let the pats system let the truck start.

I'm wondering if there's anything else I'm missing that needs to be swapped into the super crew from the parts truck. ?

I was thinking the gauge cluster possibly?
