I personally use gun wash as I can buy it in 5gal jugs.

With a stainless whip 108" is pretty normal and they just talk better in my experience and they wont shatter when they hit limbs dog hunting.

Maybe so but I had a 7' one with my cobra 25 and I could talk for about 15 miles. The firestik I had wouldnt do 10.
