Wolvee its very common. I had it happen while driving talk about being a little sketchy. I would replace all 3 or 5 rubber hoses.

265/70/r17's will fit on stock fx4 rims right? I got some 285's right now and I need a set of summer tires. Just wanted to make sure that they would fit on my truck before I bothered the guy.

That was the Front Left but I changed the Front right as well. The FL was in much better shape but I hate the idea of doing one side but not the other.

I would have liked to upgrade to stainless but I couldn't find anything local and I was in a hurry. Maybe when I get around to doing the Expedition upgrade.

I also discovered that the new clunking sound was more than my Upper Ball joints/UCA. My Idler arm is toast as well. I ordered a Moog replacement from Amazon today for $63.

Advance Auto said they'd pricematch from their $108.99 price but would add $10 to the $63 for shipping. With Prime Amazon has it here on the 2nd so I'll just wait.

Yes. 265's are stock tire size on FX4 rims. I have 285's on my current ones.

You need smaller rims and tires and the truck would look great
