What did you do to your 10th gen today?

Yeah, paint overall on the truck is not in great shape. Texas sun and not being taken care of take it's toll. My hood is looking bad also, but no rust.
Yes the shocks stand out, I almost scuffed them up and painted them black, but unless the wheels are turned, you really don't see them, and over time they will get dirty.

think I'm going with skyjackers....
No problem, "vintage" what's vintage ? For your truck ? If so that's a good deal! Guess I'm going to look for a spot welded. You can spot weld with the mig, it's just more time consuming and there's alot of them lol.
You have a 3/8 spot cutter yet ? I have one, but it's not looking to healthy. Found a good deal on a Blair kit here, -

Case in point: my three jaw puller (harbor freight) that completely broke during its first use.
I plan on doing the rockers myself but am not comfortable enough to do lower door skins.
How bad are your cab corners?
I don't think those full rockers will reach up to good metal
And..I also noticed that good looking full steel cowl hood they offer

Vintage may be a bit of an exaggeration but they had the original ford stickers from 99 on it. That cutter seems really cheap. I've never used one but am always nervously suspicious about cheaper specialty tools.

Cab corners are bad enough, but I have to replace them on both sides anyway because they part of the rockers with this truck. I think they'll reach up to good metal in my case...hope so! Just noticed the front drivers side corner of the bed (behind the cab) is rusted thru in some spots. I've some good metal left in my old lower bed panels I can use for that.
They sell two types of door skins in case your not aware. There's lower outside and lower inside. You would think they were the same...nope.
EDIT: as far as the hood, I see the Cervinis hoods have been somewhat copied. That's the one I'm after, The Cervinis Ram Air hood, -

cliffords a 4x4
Yeah i think previous owner would carry 2x4's and lay them on the roof instead of the tailgate. plus like blupupher said South Texas weather will mess with your paint, 110 degrees one day then cold and wet the next..... plus that sun will just eat up your paint if you dont take care of it
My trucks previous owner parked it under a tree for a few months, sap ate all the clear coat off the hood and roof.

Can someone post a picture of the stock intake? I'm going from a CAI back to stock and want to make sure I'm got the right line hooked up to the proper place, manly which vacuum line goes where.
