But it wont wear out like fiberglass does so the sound doesnt change.

You use magnaflow correct? They use the same woven rock salt. The stainless construction should prevent that from being a problem.

It sounds smooth and deep. The glasspacks I have heard dont have the growl that come with this but the only ones I have heard were thrush on a chevy 350... that I am aware of.

It's actually a Flo-pro, based off the magnaflow design but fiberglass and steel wool
