Hella brand D2S ballasts, 3rd generation. Pulled them from a 2001 X5, and they are some damn fine ballasts. Must quicker start up than the XB35's. Not to say the XB35's are bad, just... OEM is OEM.
Got a hell of a deal on the tuner. 155 shipped for an X3 3015 with 3 custom MPT tunes. 87 econ, 89 tow, 93 race. Tuner was unused with 5 unlocks, and unmarried.

I wish I could stumble onto a deal like that. Best I find are unmarried 3015s with canned tunes for about 175. I need to start looking more i guess. Lol

Look ^^^ his tires are dirty too.
The weather has been wet around here for so long, right after the new treads went on....the truck is always dirty. Getting tired of it....looks less then blue book when dirty.

Well, not just today, but over the last several days I did the following:
Bought a 2001 F150 Supercrew 4x4 last Thursday (2/23).
Replaced the brakes (pads and rotors) all the way around.
Replaced a non-working cruise control switch (the one on the master cylinder).
Cleaned & adjusted the parking brake shoes / hardware.
Replaced both (broken) outside mirrors.
Installed a new head unit (stereo).
Removed a non-working Viper alarm system.
Repaired the "sometimes working" odometer with a bit of fresh solder.
Did the "zip tie mod" on the throttle cable.
Still need to hit up the local U-Pull-It yard in hopes of finding some intact trim pieces that are broken on mine, change the oil and transmission fluid, find and fix a small exhaust leak, replace the cloudy headlamps, wire the third brake light and interior light on the camper shell, and at some point crank the torsion bars up some to compensate for the grill guard on the front.
