I'm not really digging the square look either, but I'm sure those light things up a lot better than the factory lights. I'd consider getting some door edge guard to finish out the cut edges. I assume you re-wired them to come on with your high beams rather than the lows?

As an aside, why are your tow hooks ****-eyed?

They were in the trucks that didn't come with fogs.

Yes it lights up the road at night and the light output is fantastic. I wired it separately and I'll eventually use the factory fog light wires because the illuminated switch that came with it is too bright. You're right about the tow hooks I guess I never paid attention to it. I'll add that to my to-do list.

I checked out the "detail" in your other thread. Nice work!

I'll be interested to know if those lights jiggle around at all. When I put mine in, I hung them upside down from the header, and ran metal braces to the radiator support. One of them still jumps around (well, vibrates, really) just a little on washboard roads.

BTW, are those the "blackout" version?

Interesting, yeah I just figured they left the holes open like they do on raptors... can't say I've seen a 10th gen with those before

Thanks Andy. Watching your build has made me step my game up. Yeah, they're the 500FF blackouts. I noticed that they do vibrate a bit as well. I'm going to cut some plates to put on top and bottom of the mounts. That should tighten them up a bit.
