The u bolts will fit. They need to be tight so it won't slip later. Instructions do suck but you but if you search steering stabilizer on here there are some good pictures and explanations. Drillrig put up those but I can help if you need it.

Unfortunately I did not take any before pics, but I will post some afters tomorrow. As mentioned, fairly simple job. Just make sure all electrical connectors are in the correct place once reassembling.
GO SOX!
I typically wrap the connectors with masking tape and mark them when doing something like that. No way of messing it up during reassembly. Appreciate the pictures and sure everyone would like to see how it came out.

Edit* pics are out of order, hate garagetalk still lol

Here's a few pics on the passenger side, on the driver side the metal flange was pulled away enough to get the wrench in, on this side tho you can see where I notched the dash. No problems thus far. Also attached a pic of the wrench I used for it.

I used duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint, I did headliner and sun visors too. It's held up great on the dash but my door panels (where my arm rests with the window down) and the foot scuff covers are showing some wear,<-- not surprised tho sweaty arms on a 98° day and boots constantly going in and out will test most paints m. I'm either going to go back over those areas and clear coat the whole piece or try some other paint. Oh also used duplicolor adhesion promoter, again maybe not necessary but I wanted it to stick! The dash, visors, headliner and rear doors have all held up great

As promised, here are the after pics. The area right around my stereo was completely black where the paint chipped off. I used the Duplicolor Vinyl and Plastic paint in the charcoal gray for mine.
