that's what I've heard. Zebraford recommended using epoxy primer as it sticks very well, then I could put a coat of something durable on top of that.

Curious about your reasoning behind this. I obviously know the function. I had one on my sport bike and have seen the Civic kids do it. May be the first time I've seen one installed on a truck.

Just have to get her completely Nekkid and shooter with Gumbo.

Rust under the paint comes thru and provides holes for more rust. Been there-done that.

But you can't blast the inner parts?

Lots of opinions on the inner areas, I really like Fluid Film. I use it every fall. I live in SW Michigan, which just might be the rust capital of the world.

Most of us have probably been there done that with rust lol.

Inner body, -Probably not all totally, but you'll be surprised how much of it you can get with a blaster. Only other way is acid/chemical dip. Blast what you can, then prime what can, then paint/finalize. Those tight areas, I not sure fluid film will last as long as 3M cavity wax. But I'd go with the 3M stuff unless someone has a better product out. AFAIK, the 3M stuff is still the best. Apply it as last step. Fluid film is good too, but I think you have to re-apply more often.

Drillrig has one and swears it reduces bump steer and felt shock while off road or from pot holes. This one was 28 whole dollars so I thought I would give it a go considering how much time I spend off road.

Are the side panels fiberglass? What years were they fiberglass? I know mine are. Makes the rear end way too light.
