Just make sure you're not trying to stretch the cable when you put your foot to the floor. People think that slack is bad, but as long as the throttle plate is opening 100%, it's fine. Taking up too much can cause the throttle to hit 100% before the pedal is through its full range of travel.

Got everything back together! Hijacked the battery off my Ram just to see if it would turn over and it did. All I have left is to get bad gas out of tank and put fresh in and fill with coolant. I installed the hood after taking this picture.
