You could down convert. But at that point you might as well just buy tje head unit with the HDMI input.

Yeah, I looked at both options, and if this capability had been high on the list, I would probably have looked specifically at the HDMI-equipped unit. In the end, I decided I wanted Android Auto, and HDMI came along for the ride. The ChromeCast was a "well I have the HDMI input, so I might as well use it" justification. (That, and it was on sale for $25).

Its not exactly a must have for me. I'm pretty happy having bluetooth streaming and phone and back up camera capabilities. Ohio you install looks great.

I had a P0125 (insufficient coolant temp) code for a while, so I finally replaced the thermostat yesterday. ODB and Dashboard iOS app report I'm at a steady 193 degrees now.

I also found a stock air cleaner assembly at the junkyard, so I replaced the K&N craptastic "cold air intake" that a previous owner had wasted some money on. Not only has the air intake temp dropped by 5 degrees, but I swear the exhaust sounds deeper/better. Probably a placebo effect, but I'll take it.

The best part is no codes!

Ive got a project in mind and was curious if you would be willing to let go of the intake tube for the k&n?
