Same here, just swaped it out 3 or 4 days ago, -do it every 3. Not sure why these guys are screwing with speed bleeders or a Mitey Vac with these systems lol. So easy, quick and thorough to one man bleed/flush these in one shot. Mine really wasn't that bad after 3 years time, a little contamination I guess. Have a lot of fluid left over lol.

It's just a push-through panel fastener like this:
I drilled the hole, smoothed it and touched up the edges, then popped the fastener through the arm. I added a plastic washer on the back, since the fastener is usually used for thicker material, and used black RTV to keep it from wiggling/vibrating.
Other types/styles of fasteners like this would be likely candidates, as well.

It's not a very good picture but mine looked pretty bad to. This was when I did the break swap but I had already flushed it right after I bought the truck 2 years earlier. All I can figure is the rubber lines were so internally corroded it contaminated everything.
This is what happened after pressing on the brakes in the driveway because things felt a bit mushy. I think this might be what kicked off my 7700 caliper swap.

It was great when you could get the ATE blue. It was all I used. No guess work with a flush.

There used to be and old man. When he did a fluid change. I was always wondering where he got the Blue fluid. Come to find out he was putting a drop of blue coloring like you use on eggs. To color the fluid. Always wondered if it could cause issues being mixed in like that. But he would use a different color each time. A few times seen him use blue, green, yellow, red or what ever was a different color. His reasoning was made sure all old fluid was out of the system.
This was back when most cars and trucks had manual brakes. Before power and lots better brakes..

It's in the pic and much smaller than it looks lol.
Never the less...yea, it's some dark stuff for sure.
I had alittle fun with plasti-dip saturday and sunday. I tried searching and searching and havent found any like it, I wanted to do the raptor "splash" but this version is so much easier. I originally was going to remove the "4x4". But my brother being the master taper that he is, did all the taping and outling for me, I just did the measurements and painting. Just have to figure out to do something on the tailgate area.
