So going to fix a bed and stuff in the bed of the truck. Throw a memory foam mattress on it and use the topper to sleep in at night.
I may have found a small popup truck camper. And if that deal works out, I will be putting this topper up for sale. As I can have the Truck camper in and out of the truck fast. Where it will take 30 minutes to an hour to remove the Topper and everything I plan on building the bed of the truck.

Took a 16ft boat I have been playing with to the river this evening. And it was the first time driving the truck, with the topper. Not sure if it was it and the boat. But sure can tell it all was there. Boat has 3 Group 27 batters in it, 80 lb thrust trolling motor. Along with a 40hp Mercury on back. Not sure it will like my 19ft lund. AS it will weight 4X what this little John boat weights.
Pete
With your stock size tires you should have had no trouble at all pulling the john boat. You should forget it's back there until you look for it to be honest.

I have a 15 ft polar kraft with a Nissan 40 and had it loaded down with two kayaks, two commercial crab traps, and I believe a group 29 battery, and barely noticed it back there.

That being said, if I'm towing either of my 20 ft boats my overdrive is turned off. Lol

So maybe prioritize a 6.0 250 over a 3v 5.4.....? I really need a crew cab for the space. Also, whats deleted and studded? I havent come across those terms in any ads yet. Ill google it. Thanks. Id like to stick with a 150 just to be able to stick around here. Yalls are great help. I just think newer trucks are ugly.

Most ads would say bulletproofed if its been done, read up on bulletproofing for all the specs but its pretty much egr delete, tuner, head studs etc.

Why not get a 03 supercrew? I mean you know these trucks are reliable you know the MPG these trucks get and all that and you get the crew cab you want.

then don't have the front seats back as far haha my buddy is 6'3" and fits in the back seat of mine better then he can fit in the front seat of his aurora or his moms new Impala haha keep in mind he has very long legs.. Long story short his knees touch the dash and his head touches the headliner in both cars. Yes the seats are lowered all the way and back all the way. Haha he's like 3 inches from the headliner in the truck and knees were like 2 inches from the backseat, I told him and his parents he needs a truck.. They agree now

I'm glad you weren't more hurt. That looks terrible. If something were to happen to my truck, I'd be pressed to jump into a F250 of the same Generation or pull on my big boy pants and make payments on a new King Ranch. The super Duty's from these years look great. It's so nice, not thinking about a car payment though. Trucks these days quickly price up to $50k.

I hate to admit this, but I like the new Dodge/Ram trucks. It was dangerous for me to be at the dealership the other day for the wife.

Try $80,000.

Also, Of the new models, the Ram is the only one I would even think of buying, the new Fords are way ugly (horrible looking front end, hat the headlight setup), and the Chevy is not any better.
