After a while you learn not to just throw parts in trying to solve a problem ( only took me 50 years)

It's not that common, an easy confirmation for the 97/98 models. About a 5 second check, -just switch horn relay w/pump relay and fire it up lol. From 99 + Ford change the fuse blocks around so much, - not so sure it remained that simple. You can still swap, but in some cases you may actually have to check cross terminal. Not difficult, just more inconvenient on the go without the proper gadgets on board. Liked the simplicity for 97/98 vs 99+ PATS fortified models. Like the PCM plug and play for the earlier models perhaps the most.

Yeah I swapped the fuel pump relay with the pcm and my theft like would blink fast like my key wasn't working. Then I swapped them back and it was fine so that's how I figyout it was the relay

Got the bed rails off today. Had every 3/8 and 1/4" extension I had to get up there to the nuts. And the front ones were under the rear axle fender covers. Took 1.5 hours to get 4 nuts off the rails...
Then got the topper on the truck. Took the tailgate off and thought I had it made. But then had to take all hardware off that the tailgate used also.

Also heres the dent in the drivers door

Have no ideal, it was that way when I bought it. Hope to get it fixed this winter. And then in the spring, will paint the door and hook along with the top of the cab. Not sure yet if I will paint the topper or not. Thinking it may just stay the same. Might paint the back of it.
Pete
