Talked with the exhaust shop. He told me on a truck like mine, with the 5.4. The best deal was a new muffler and single exhaust. This would add the same back pressure as it had stock. Plus make it quite like it was when new. Come to find out he did the work on this truck the week it was bought. Told me who bought the truck new.
So guess I will be taking the 2 into one and 2 out muffler off "Magnaflow muffler on it now" . Putting on a new one with the exhaust exiting behind the pass wheel.

He is absolutely correct about the muffler on these trucks. Actually the best set on the dyno for these Trucks/Expys was, from cat back 3" intermediate vs the 2.5 into a 2.5 muffler and TP.

That's IF your still running the factory Y set up.

Dang, who still runs the factory Y here? Not me...screw that.
