Not sure I want the drilled and slotted rotors, but until they give me a reason to dis like them, I'll put them on with the assumption that later on I'll be putting on solid rotors.
I'de put solid on now and sell those! I've actually broken drilled rotors.

Right, +1 - where's the beef lol. Yea, if your using your truck as a truck, - HD solid truck rotors are the best. Less material, more heat. Those even look weak as hell.

Well, like the guy said , he needs a reason to think different. Perhaps putting himself or others in the hospital will do it ehh ?

Yea, lots of bad stories about knock-offs. So what are those, PowerSlot knock--offs lol ?. Might be...no thanks.

I think even a cheap set of standard auto parts replacement rotors would be a better option than these. The powerstop rotors are cheap auto store replacements with holes drilled and slots cut. That's borderline dangerous since it only makes them weaker. Also the missing material makes them less efficient at stopping and heat dissipation.

If you have to use them, I understand -it's always easier to spend other people's money- and I won't be as doom and gloom as Mr. Chipper up ^ there but at minimum keep an eye on them. When you can swing it, my suggestion is to buy Ford replacements. .. Which is what I am doing.

So i used to be a professional l detalier (was the detail manger at a local Ford and Dodge dealership for a while, as well as working in a local detail shop) back in my younger years. Before i moved on to my current job. I decided clean my seats, like really clean them. So i called in a favor to a buddy of mine and he let me use his shop to work. I did the carpet to while the seats where out, but i have Husky Liners so it wasn't that bad Here are the before and afters.

All the marks you can see on the after pics were brushed out when the seats dried.

Rotated and all 4 calipers painted white. Was very time consuming. Happy with them even if they get dirty.

Went to check on the installation of my new to me 9.75 rear end. Hopefully I'll have it back tomorrow.

Brakes are done. No test drive yet though; I heard the dinner bell.

I bled through the entire line and they still feel a little spongy so I may have to go through and do it again tomorrow.

I've got alignment scheduled for 7:30 tomorrow morning so I hope I make it in time and I don't find any new problems.
