Bigger "quality" rotors dissipate heat faster; there's more pad & caliper surface area contact. These things help reduce brake fade. If you tow heavy or drive like a madman, this helps. The only aftermarket brake kit I know about for the F150 is by Wilwood and starts at $2,000.

It's a cheap and easy upgrade for no more money than it costs to use F150 parts.

It comes on King Ranch models also.
I used mine, but I just replaced my garage door opener and it is not compatible with the older homelink system (changed in 2012). They sell an adapter to add onto the door, but for $40, I will just use the little cubby thing in my headliner with the included remote.

I do have my mother in laws opener programed on mine still though, so I use it occasionally.

Mine also comes with a little voice recorder thing that I have never used.

That is what I thought they all were, just a random voice recorder. Lol

No luck this morning. All the brakes were just as bad as the ones I already have. The only vehicle I could find a homelink in had already been cut out.

It's not that big of deal though. I think I'll just buy remanned loaded calipers and the homelinks are pretty cheap on flebay. They also sell an entire powered mirror with all the fancy stuff in it so I may consider one of those later on.

I was just looking for stuff to do while on vacation. Bad things then to happen when I'm bored.

The Expedition calipers are bigger, but are one of the worst designs I've ever seen. I did the swap with reman calipers and for the life of me, I could not get the calipers to stop rattling due to the design of the "anti rattle" clips, which do nothing. Perhaps I got a bad set of reman calipers, but no matter what I did, the calipers would be able to wiggle 1/8 of an inch. I went back to stock calipers and rotors and didn't notice much of a decrease in stopping power. The best upgrade that I did was ss brake lines.

Interesting, What axis was the wiggle? I've never seen this complaint on the Expedition forums.

Replaced the rear speed sensor, unplugged the battery to clear the computer and took it for a quick drive with no codes!

He's been a member since 2011 and this is his only post... Not sure if his opinion is worth anything
