The needle means nothing
Although if you want to use the needle as a real indicator of mpg, it looks like you got 100 mils out of 3/8 of a tank.. which is pretty bad to be honest.
The other 5/8s would yield ~165 miles, meaning you got 265 miles until you were on E. Of course there is a couple gallons left in it once you're on E, but still, that's very poor mileage.

I know exactly what im doin..... I normally get 100 when its on half a tank or a little under..... So this is good news for me
