What 3 tunes to get from mpt?
So I bought an SCT livewire from mpt and I get 3 free tunes with it. I run 87 octane exclusively since here in MD its a 20 cent/gallon difference for midgrade. I dont do much hauling so I'm thinking 87 performance and an economy since I have a long commute. Im also thinking either street or race shift points because I hate the stock super chill. Any suggestions as to what 3 I should get?

If sticking with 87 only, I would get performance/street (it is what I have), economy/street and performance/race.
For giggles, get the first 2 then get a 91/93 (whatever is available in your area) performance/race just to see what that feels like for a tank or 2.
I bought my tuner used so I only bought 1 tune, and like you I have no desire to spend an extra $8/tank for premium fuel, so I got the 87 performance/street. I notice no actual performance from the engine, but do notice an much better shift performance. I have heard the race is a little too rough for street driving.

I agree with blupupher. I have a 93 perf race tune that I can't run because of trans problems, a 93 perf street and an 87/89 tow street tune. I didn't notice a whole lot of difference in the 87/89 tune as far as power. It shifts better and that's about it. With the 93 perf street, I've noticed a pretty good pickup in bottom and mid range power.
The race tune holds the shifts out a little longer, it'll hold first to about 15mph. I didn't tell much difference shift pressure wise between the street and race. I can't run it though because it'll shift from second to third at wide open throttle, and it'll sit in third for a second or two and then shift back into second and bounce off the rev limiter at 5500rpm and stay in second for a while before finally shifting back to third.
