DAMN IT BROWNING, you totally ruined my image of tackle. Mathematically, although a lot of factors can be added In to this; the first number is always multiplied by the second to help find diameter. So anytime the 2nd numbers are the same like 65 and the first number is larger. The larger first number is going to make it taller on the same rim.

A 285 70 17 is approximately 11.2 inches wide by 32.7 tall

A 305 70 17 is 12.0 by 33.8
