So I've had a very weird thing happen to me, only twice so far, but unsure if I found the reason why. It seems that when my gas gets low (midway between quarter and empty) the truck ('00 5.4L) just doesnt like leaving 1st gear (its an automatic). After filling up my tank and about 15 miles later or so the problem goes away by itself. checked the tranny fluid and hoses and everything checks out.
If anyone has any ideas that'd be great.
