water in door
#12
Well checked and didn't see any drain holes on the bottom part of the door, if the weatherstripping holes on the bottom are meant to drain there way above the point where the water is. I drilled a small hole on the inside very bottom of the door, I guess about a 1/2 quart of water drained, at least the water is out until i have a chance to replace the weather stripping. still need to remove the door panel and see what rust damage if any is there and seal that up. I primed the bare metal around the hole going to see if i can find a rubber plug to fit in there so if it happens again i can just pop it off the drain any water

The slots are further down than I thought, they're almost at the very bottom of the door. I looked at mine yesterday because I was thinking about it. Either way at least you got the water out, it would sit in there and end up rotting the pins out of the connectors.

Pagercub my 2003 F-150 with 273,000 miles on it has water sloshing in the drivers side door. Need best way to eliminate the problem. Do I just drill a couple holes under the door frame?

Huh, I didn't think the F150's had this problem. I leased a Lincoln for a couple years, not a truck, a MKS and that had the problem. Rear doors would fill with water. The drains/slits in the rubber door stripping would pinch close at the bottom. You would have to flip the stripping outward (not removing anything, just a little pressure) and gallons would drain out. It was just one of the doors. Never had or seen that prob in a F150 yet.
