It could be a fuel issue. I'm guessing there is no cel light on and all gauges read normal?

What does it say exactly? Lean, rich, or faulty o2?

First thing I'd do is check the fuel pressure. Has the fuel filter been replaced lately?

It could be a number of things, and I don't wanna just say throw parts at it. Could be a spark issue, iat sensor reading high, clogged cat, bad maf, tps, etc. I'd put a scan tool on it and see what readings are off.
