hi all, my 98 f150 4x4 needs driveshaft u joints. I am getting a vibration when moving and also a squeak that goes away with some lube. Question is will a 5 inch vice be large enough for squeezing out the old ones. any tips, suggestions before I venture into this or am I better off taking out the driveshaft and taking it in. thanks!

I did mine, which were original, without a vice or press. They were a bear!! There is no telling how hard they will be untill you try. I had no other option.

If I knew somebody with a press to do them for a few bucks, it would have been money well spent.
