Default Turndowns or Duals?

Should I install turndowns or dual pipes on my 2003 F-150?

It is a 4.2 v6 stepside extended cab.

I have the stock muffler on it ATM and I also would like some opinions on a muffler to get. Im thinkin a Flowmaster 40 or super 44.

If i split it off into duals I would like Dual tips on both sides or some HUGE single tips so links to some nice tips will also be appreciated.

Thanks

How would a Flowmaster 40 be on a 2000 F-150 XLT 4.6 V8.

Thanks,
