turbocharged 4.2?
contemplating installing a turbo on my 97 with a 4.2 manual. wondering if its been done before, if so anything to lookout for and lookin for a place to find preformance parts.

you know of any places to find performance parts for a 4.2 or anything that will carry over from other motors. all the 6 cylinder headers ive found have been very expencive.

Under drive pulleys are easy to install and also help in the power dept.
You can use 3.8 headers from a Mustang V-6. Not sure what price you're looking to spend. Good headers can be pricey, so I wouldn't skimp if possible.
Electric fans also help add some power that's lost from your fan. Although the ones I installed were over $500. They did add to some power back and keep the motor cooler on hot summer days.
