Downshifting not always
94 F150 5.0 EFI an OD trans, not sure exact model.
Well with OD on or off most of the time it seems to shift too soon causing it to bog and strain to gain speed, once int OD or top gear with OD switched off it wil not down shift even with floor boarding. just bogs and strains to gain speed. Now if I coast to lower speed it will shift to apporiated gear for speed most of the time, but then again I've been in OD at 35 mph.
Trans is clean and full.
I have looked thru the forums and don't seem to find anything like this. Anyone got some ideas where to start on this one.
