Tune Up

Default Tune Up

I changed my plugs , wires,fuel and air filter , cleaned mass sensor ,just like a new truck. Have any of you guys flushed your tranny ?

Yup and when I did my 60 k service I did a BG induction service and a Diff service too.

how long did it take to do the tune up i just picked up a 1997 f150 extra cab 4X4 5.4L and it needs a tune up

One day at firestone? I want a 5.4L stuck with 4.6 plugs can be bad on f150 from what I hear.

I bought my truck used and the previous owner flushed the tranny every 30k and will continiue doing the same. Jiffy Lube will do it for 90$ and they use a lot of quarts of oil guranteeing it is 100% new fulid. Chagne lubes in rear and front diff. and also the transfer case.
