Default Trying the retrieve the code for my keyless entry

So when i bought the truck it only had 1 key and 1 keypad..There is also the keyless entry on the driver door. I am trying to retrieve that code without having to take it to the dealer. I was told by some other members on here that it can be found on the module...Is this module going to be located behind my rear seat?? Driver or passenger side?? I have a supercab if that makes any difference

No it's not. 04-08 is, not sure bout 09+

If your truck is a 97-03, get under your steering wheel on the ground and peek behind the interior and you should see a module You might have to push wiring out of the way to see it clearly.

If you need more help I can try to take pictures later. It's not hard.

Thumbs up

x2 ^ AZ is correct, it's under the driver side dash. I had to use a flashlight but there is a white sticker with a bunch of numbers on it but the code will be the bigger 5-digit code. Hope this helps.

Yes it is. It's NOT behind your backseat, the module is located behind the dash behind the steering wheel. Stick your head back there and use a flash light you will see the module with a big white sticker. It's a 5 digit code and will be in bold numbers.

Let us know if you find it.
