Default truck sputters in gear not in park

I have a 2000 ford f150 4.6l. My truck is idling fine but when your driving it is sputtering pretty bad. Anyone have any suggestions, no code has been thrown.

Thanks in advance for the help

Replace all the plugs and wires about 100 miles ago but did not replace the coil packs. If it was this would it not throw a code ?

This sounds exactly like my issue I am having. It could be a vacuum leak caused by a rubber elbow thing on the back of the throttle body. Check out this thread - https://www.f150forum.com/f6/97-roug...um-leak-46292/

Oh, and for the record, I haven't fixed mine yet, hoping to tinker with it tonight some more.
