Default Supercharger

Does anyone know where to get a supercharger for 97 f250 5.4L for a decent price. And what all would I need to change out if I got one installed.

I've never seen one installed or done one myself, but id think you'd have to change valvetrain, maybe a different cooling setup, and then all the electronics that go into it, since you're gonna be forcing alot more air into the engine... just my .02 though.

I've seen used ones on ebay for 97-98 so if your patient you'll get a good deal I've seen them go as low as a grand. Vortech and procharger make them for a 97 if you have 4-5 grand laying around. They come complete with everthing you need so they say and dont't reguire any fab work. And you dont't have to change the valvetrain.

It's a project if you have never done anything forced induction before. You will be changing fuel pump, injectors, plugs, probably radiator, e-fans, sensors to wideband, exhaust, etc. Don't get me wrong, the results are worth it in the end but it's a lot of work.

fuel pump and injectors are a must. gotta have some fuel to go with all that air!
