truck died but still had radio
I have a 1998 Ford F150, v-8 Triton, stick shift truck. Have had since 2000. It now has just over 300,000 miles. Replaced battery almost two years ago. Left work & was only able to drive for about 10 minutes before all went dark inside & outside of truck - no lights, just parking lights, no dash board lights & my truck started beeping at me, like a cell phone does when the battery charge is just about gone. Tried starting about 10 minutes later. Click, click, click was what I got; however, the radio worked, dome light worked. Charged battery for nearly 30 minutes & was able to drive to a safe parking lot just as it died again. Jumped started right away. I am thinking something is draining the battery, like a vampire drains blood (ha ha)
Anyone out there had this type of problem before? Any suggestions? Replace battery & alternator?
Any & all suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like an alternator...
Your radio and dome light can run on lower voltage.
