98 f150 4.6 auto 4x4. Recently started to notice the trans seems to be slipping when at a stand still and go to accelerate. Revs to about 1500 and creeps forward then catches and goes. Only seems to happen on cold starts and at beginning of trips til warm. It almost feels like the brake is engaged then it catches. Is my trans starting to slip and go? What can I do to try to fix this or do i need to get it checked out? Would Lucas trans fix help any? Thanks for input

Well first off how is your fluid level? Checked while running and hot... Second, has the filter and fluid been serviced? If not you may want to look into getting that done and inspect the pans contents...

Edit: don't have it flushed, just changed...
