Transmission Cooler Help Needed
Okay, I have the "studder" or "rumble strip" effects in my 97 4.6L automatic that many describe. I am going to change my trans fluid and I purchased an aftermarket cooler.
Here's the plan:
The lines that run from the trans to the radiator we will detatch from radiator, and attatch new NPT fittings to those lines. Then we will connect a new rubber trans hose between the new NPT fittings and the new cooler.
Here's the problem:
I know what size hose my new cooler takes. That is 1/4" so the hose will need to be that size, as will one end of the NPT fittings. However, I can't find information anywhere that shows what size the other end of my NPT fittings need to be.
Any help would be appreciated.
