mandingo32, I'd just go ahead and get the GM style, I have no issues with them, not sure why others are. Maybe I just got lucky? Usually you can send an item back if you don't like it, just buy from the right place.

I love the little stick ons, I put them on everything too. For our trucks I honestly don't think you need much more. Only one time I wished I had full in tow mirrors and that was when I was pulling a 32' included car hauler. Thing was wide!

Those little ones are good just in general. Need to see how close you are to the curb in a turn? Check. Need to see if you're in the lines while parking? Check. Need to check you blind spot? Check(turn your head anyways but it's still nice to see the car w/o moving).

They actually saved me from crushing a corvette once. When I got the truck it had an older set of blindspot mirrors and one on the passenger side had a black mark right in the blindspot mirror. I didn't bother fixing it cause I check by turning my head anyways when changing lanes. One time a corvette entered the road from an exit and entered my blind spot(and in the smudge on the mirror). I manually checked but the Corvette was below my line of site. Midway through my lane change I saw the corvette in a clean spot on the little mirror and swerved left. If i hadn't been for that mirror we would've collided. That passenger blindspot mirror was replaced that day lol. Get one a set if you don't have them already. It's well worth the $12.

Rarely do I pull anything bigger than your typical lawn service sized trailer. When we build 24' and 32' production trailer I may hook up just to move them to a different spot but I don't run them on the roadways.
