touchy brakes

The water is getting into your drum brakes. It happens to me on a moist day or after it rains. It will jerk the hell out of you for the first few minutes of driving right?

I have a 98 extended cab long bed and mine has been doing that for a long time too. It will almost put you through the windshield. I have had the dealer look at them several times and his thought was to put aftermarket shoes on. I haven't tried it yet but will soon.

did you adjust the star on the automatic spacer? if you didnt odds are it's still open to far from the old shoes that were worn down and had much less metallic material than the new shoes....just a thought.

Mine does it too after I launch the boat and have the rear tires in the lake.
