Default Tool/survival kit

So as I was packing for a camping trip today I realized I did not have a toolbag in my truck to prepare for a breakdown or whatever the case might be. So I got a bag and added to the truck with essentials I'll need in case anything happens or typical tools you'll often need like pliers etc. Just thought it would be a cool thread to start of either pics or details of what everyone has for a kit like this in their 150's! I'll be posting pics of my setup tomorrow!

Good for you, I prefer to handle my own situations and be prepared rather than having to depend on others.

Ok, if for some reason I was stranded and my other 2 options failed...I have a Max Axis socket set, metric and standard, a hammer, vice grips, a few screw drivers, side cutters, needle nose, electrical tape, tarp, rope, shovel, lube and a litre of Jack Daniels.

That litre of Jack Daniels really is the icing on the cake. Nice setup, I recently bought the go thru socket set from HF which is like the axis. Gotta say my fav tool in my bag

I pretty much have a full set of tools. Pliers, wrenches, sockets, screw drivers, pic's etc.. as I have replaced my tools with better quality tools(craftsman) I've been putting all my old tools in my tool bag in the truck. I always carry water and in the winter time I carry a sleeping bag. Never know what'll happen. I also have two gallons of water for the radiator if need be

LOL. Tackle, I gotta say I enjoy your unique perception on things. One of my favorite commentators on here.

I keep a full set of sockets & wrenches as well as a variety of drivers, tape & pliers. And a roll of bailing wire. That stuff has saved my **** many times. Fire extenguisher and a gallon of water. Oh, and a slim jim, spare key, & jumper cables. My tool box is pretty loaded down. Have stopped many times to help other broke down people before.

Before I bought my new truck I carried this with me most of the time. Plus some other tools along with it.
