Question Tires and Wheels delima...

I have a 97- f-150 4x4 off road. Torsion bars are cranked to make her level. I dont have the cash at the moment to replace my badly worn tires. so heres my idea.... let me know if this will work or not please...

I have some chrome 16" rims off a 93 bronco in the garage and a full set of general grabber 315/75/16's next to them. can I put the tires on the rims and throw them on the truck for a while till i can get the cash to get new tires or will this cause more problems than do good?

Appreciate it... Thanks

Have you checked the bolt pattern on the rims. I have an 02 f-150 and the bolt pattern is 5x135mm. It's not 5x5. Just lettin you know.

as long as you don't engage the 4x4 on a hard surface like the road or even hard dirt you should be fine.

I would put the big ones on the front. I think it will look better that way.

I wouldnt swap front to rear unless you plan on buying all new tires. Then again, being a 4x4 you should buy all 4 anyway.
