Yup,we drilled mine out. Truck isn't rusty,previous owner just tightened them so far that the washer bowled up and couldn't get a socket of any kind on it

Took like 2 hours lol. My dad suggested it and did most of the bolts,I don't know why we didn't use my angle grinder..

how exactly are the bolts, how would you even cut them out?

You could probably grind the heads down if you're confident enough. My bed was trashed from my tires hitting it when the axle broke loose,so I could have cut them with no worries of screwing anything up lol.

The cab bolts will all come out, I wouldn't worry about those...

The bed bolts, if needed, grind/drill the head off then go under and cut the clip nut (just the thin part that clips onto the frame rail) and they'll fall right out...

If you think a bolt can stop you from doing a project, you should probably have someone on hand that isn't scared to cut something the eff in half
