Ok cool. Mine is maybe a tenth as loud, but it is the same ticking. I hear it a bit louder when I rev it quickly "stomp the gas" but if I do it slowly , no noise at all. When I put it into drive and start going down the road at a normal pace sometimes I can hear it and sometimes not, but if I get on it hard I can hear it pretty clearly most the time, I did notice that today was a little hotter then normal "around 75 " it was a lot quieter, I hardly heard it today and only when first starting it..... Weird...

Would it get quieter as the motor warmed up? Cause it goes away for the most part when warm, I can hear when I get on it harder then normal.

Update: it turned out to be a leaky exhaust manifold. I took some silicone lube and wiped it around the bottom of the manifold and sure enough little tiny silicone bubbles started to form.. I guess this weekend I'm swapping some gaskets
