I'm just hoping its not a sign the rear axle was already replaced from a donor or something.

Mind if I ask you what you like / love in the F150 vs the Chevy? I'm trying still to decide. Never had a Ford, always Chevy.

Hey guys, so I'm still trying to decide. I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on that F150 2003 with 100k at the dealer. I'm on the fence still between Chevy and Ford. I've had a Chevy always and the only issues Ive had was electrical and/or fuel issues (ie: fuel pump, fuel filter, spider issues, ...) no tranny or engine issues and never been stranded.

What do you guys love in F150 and why not Chevy?

PS: I'm gonna hear some shouts in a moment. lol

The low end torque is enough reason for me. I walk away from a buddy with a 5.3 when we tow our 4000lb boats. His powerboats is so much higher it's pointless to have in a truck. Anyways. I got sick of electrical issues in my older Chevy. None so far with my ford and neither do my buddies with the same ford. Pull the trigger my friend, you will not regret it. I don't.
